Job Overview:
Peel Construction are currently looking to expand the Construction division, we are looking for a recruitment consultant with experience in the construction sector.
The Construction division at Peel, work in placing highly skilled blue-collar trades and white-collar professionals across multiple sectors within the industry. Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to understand their hiring needs.
- Collaborate with clients to define job requirements, specifications, and key competencies for various roles.
- Set foot on live construction sites, meet with decision makers and have direct access to invaluable information that can only be obtained onsite.
Candidate Sourcing and Screening:
- Utilise various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events, to identify and attract top-tier construction professionals.
- Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including interviews and skills evaluations, to ensure a high-quality talent pool.
Recruitment Process Management:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial client engagement to candidate onboarding.
- Coordinate interviews, negotiate offers, and provide guidance to both clients and candidates throughout the hiring process.
Market Research:
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and salary benchmarks within the sector.
- Provide insights to clients and candidates regarding the competitive landscape and talent market.
Business Development:
- Actively seek opportunities for business development and expansion within the industry.
- Identify and pursue new client partnerships to increase market share.
Key Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships with clients and candidates.
- Experience within a sales environment (retail, telesales, or fast paced working environment) coupled with a confident and professional telephone manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with relevant recruitment tools and technologies.
- Experience as a Recruitment Consultant would be ideal, with a focus on Construction.
- Due to the requirement to attend live construction sites across the North West area, a driving licence and a car is essential for this role.
